We adapted this healthy seed cracker recipe from various ones we tried. We combined the best of each into one mouth-watering recipe that we’d be loathe to lose. By posting it here, we’ll always have it.
Ingredients
The best place we’ve found to obtain the ingredients is nuts.com (minus the water).
- 1 cup flax seeds
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup water
- Salt and garlic granules to taste
Directions
- Mix the seeds in a large bowl.
- Stir in the water and salt.
- Let stand for five minutes.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and spread the mixture onto the pan.
- Sprinkle with garlic granules or other desired flavors/spices.
- Score to the serving size desired.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
- Let cool
- Break apart and enjoy.
If you cut the recipe in half, you’ll still need 1 cup of water. I’m sure a food chemist can explain that one.
